1. What this site is

Couples Resolve is a directory connecting people seeking relationship support with independent UK-based couples coaches. We are not a clinical service, not a regulator, and we do not provide coaching or therapy ourselves.

2. Not medical or clinical advice

Information on this site is for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, legal, or therapeutic advice. If you or your partner are in crisis, contact the Samaritans on 116 123 or call 999.

3. Vetting & limitation of liability

We screen coaches against the standards described on our vetting page. We cannot guarantee outcomes from any coaching engagement, and we are not party to the contract between you and a coach. Any agreement, payment, or service is strictly between you and the coach you choose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Couples Resolve is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of a coach found through this directory.

4. Coach listings

Coaches are responsible for the accuracy of their own profiles. By submitting a profile you confirm your qualifications and experience are stated truthfully and you hold any required insurance. We may remove listings at our discretion, including in response to credible complaints.

5. Coach commission & verification

Listing on Couples Resolve is free of charge. In exchange, coaches agree to pay a commission of 15% of the total fees agreed with any client introduced to them through the directory, including bookings made by direct contact after the initial enquiry, for a period of 12 months from the date of first enquiry.

Reporting: coaches must mark enquiries as "booked" in their dashboard and record the agreed total fee within 7 days of the session being confirmed. We may also contact the enquiring couple directly to verify whether sessions went ahead. Persistent discrepancies between coach reporting and client confirmation are grounds for immediate removal.

Invoicing: commission is invoiced monthly in arrears. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. If an invoice remains unpaid 14 days after the due date, we will send a single written reminder. If payment is not received within a further 7 days, the coach's profile will be removed from the directory and access to the coach dashboard suspended. Outstanding sums remain due and may be recovered via small claims or a debt-collection service.

Disputes: if a coach disputes a commission charge — for example, where a client booked independently of any enquiry — they must raise it in writing within 7 days of the invoice date. We will review evidence from both sides in good faith before any removal action.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, copy, or republish coach profiles in bulk;
  • impersonate another person;
  • contact coaches for purposes other than enquiring about their services;
  • use the site to send spam, abuse, or unlawful material.

7. Intellectual property

The Couples Resolve name, brand, and site design are ours. Coach photos and bios remain the property of the coaches who supplied them.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
